Dr. Denninger specializes in the treatment of pediatric orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions.    Before teaching, she practiced full-time in the pediatric acute care setting specializing in neonatal intensive care, infants with neonatal abstinence syndrome, and medically complex children with acute and chronic conditions. Dr. Denninger has continued clinical practice at Shriners Hospital for Children in Greenville, SC.  She began teaching entry-level DPT students in 2016 as an adjunct and transitioned to full-time academics in 2019, teaching pediatrics, lifespan development, and evidence-based practice. She is a board-certified clinical specialist in pediatrics. Her professional degrees include a Bachelor of Science in exercise science and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy, both from Sacred Heart University. She is currently working towards a Doctorate of Education with a concentration in Higher Educational Leadership.
