Ms. Schimmoeller started her career in healthcare at The Ohio State University Hospitals operating room, as a billing and recording clerk.  While there, she earned her Bachelor of Science in English Education.  She then moved to the Toledo, OH area and worked as a clerk in the Medical Records department for the University of Toledo Medical Center and was promoted to a Clinical Trials Coordinator for the Hematology/Oncology Outpatient Clinic.  She enjoyed this position which allowed her to travel around Ohio and recruit oncology patients into clinical trials through the National Institute of Health.  While working at BGSU in various positions throughout the College of Health and Human Services, she received her Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Gerontology and is now the Operations Coordinator for the School of Physical Therapy.
