The past year challenged us, but we embraced our role as a 21st-century public university for the public good and launched FORWARD., a guiding strategy defined by action. We've identified 21 moments during 2020-21 that moved us forward and will continue to make us better. Each of these moments, or actions, are positioning Bowling Green State University and our students for success.

Moment No. 10 – we can continue to graduate. Throughout 2020, we were able to recognize our graduates safely with virtual celebrations, while always committing to an in-person ceremony when it was safe to do so. In spring 2021, we kept our promise and celebrated more than 7,000 graduates from 2020 and spring 2021 with six outdoor, in-person commencement ceremonies.

Bowling Green State University held its first in-person commencement ceremonies in more than a year at Doyt L. Perry stadium, with six ceremonies over the course of three days.
