Community Description:

In the Service-Learning Community of Practice, we will examine the transformative power of service-learning as an educational tool and provide you with actionable strategies to integrate this approach into your classroom. The service-learning pedagogy challenges traditional methods of lecture and knowledge consumption toward an experiential-learning pedagogy. This emphasizes the importance of integrating meaningful service into the curriculum, the careful selection of community partnerships, and the incorporation of critical reflections on the impact and experience of serving a community.

Join the Service-Learning Community of Practice for a series of session that bridge the gap between theory and practice for the public good.
