Recording Studio Uses
You can use the recording studio to create the following:
- A welcome video for your class
- A course tour of your Canvas course contents
- A video explanation of a concept or process
- Tutorial videos
Recording Studio Tips
- Video length: Keep in mind that students learn better when course content is chunked. Keep your videos to 5 minutes or less if possible. To learn more about how to create effective videos, consider attending one of the CFE's workshops on creating video content.
- Consider your outfit carefully: Wear bright, solid, jewel-tones like teal, purple, or coral. Avoid white, black, red, and any busy patterns. Keep any jewelry simple as earrings, bracelets, or other forms of jewelry may create sound that can be picked up on the microphone.
