Undergraduate Student Organizations

Undergraduate Psychology Association (UPA)

To be a member of UPA one has only to be majoring in psychology. Together with Psi Chi, UPA sponsors programs and activities that are helpful, interesting and intellectually stimulating to serious students in psychology. For example, in the past, UPA has sponsored an Undergraduate Research Conference attracting students from Ohio, Michigan and Indiana schools. UPA also helped plan a trip for undergraduates to the Midwestern Psychological Association annual meeting.

In addition to these activities, the club sponsors many different programs and events each year to which any interested student may come. Emails announcing meetings or programs are sent.

Current students interested in joining should contact UPA President Selena Dominguez.

UPA Faculty Advisor is Meagan Docherty, Ph.D.

Psi Chi

Psi Chi is a national honor society in psychology. Like other honor societies, one of its purposes is to encourage and reward scholastic achievement. To become a member, refer to the Psi Chi membership page for qualifications and application.
