Degree Requirements
(122 credit hours + 2.0 GPA)
Major courses (typically 30-36 credit hours)
A&S Multidisciplinary Component (12 credit hours)
- These course are offered by different departments, but relate to a common theme or perspective.
Minor courses (typically 21 credit hours)
World Languages & Cultures Requirement (12 credit hours)
- These courses provide students with skills to communicate, collaborate and work in global contexts, including intercultural competence, global awareness, and the ability to understand diverse perspectives and experiences.
BG Perspective (typically 36 credit hours)
- All students at BGSU—regardless of college or major—complete this core coursework that encompasses academic writing, the natural and social sciences, the arts and humanities, as well as courses that focus on cultural diversity and global concerns
