Master of Fine Arts (MFA)
Art: 3D Studio Art
To make the intangible tangible, turning an idea into something that can be touched, seen, worn or admired – that’s the work of 3D studio artists.
The Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in art with a specialization in 3D studio art at Bowling Green State University provides artists the opportunity to refine their techniques, explore materiality, master conceptual expression – and kickstart a highly successful career in the arts.
3D studio artists influence our perspectives and personal interactions – from monumental public sculptures that redefine skylines to the intimate jewelry and decorative pieces that become cherished family heirlooms. They bring texture and depth to our collective narrative, inspire creativity and enrich our cultural fabric.
Whether your preferred medium is the heat and fragility of glass, the enduring permanence of metalworks, the raw earthiness of clay or the boundless possibilities of sculpture, an MFA in 3D studio art empowers you to be a creator of works that resonate.
