Online MBA program exceeds enrollment expectations Feb 19, 2020 3:00 PM Bowling Green State University’s online MBA program exceeded the enrollment expectations by 7%. The new program enrolled 32 students during its first cohort that started in January. The online MBA program is expecting even more growth with the possibility of more concentrations added to accommodate more students and meet demands.

Of the total 2,493 degrees awarded, 907 were with honors. The Graduate College awarded 486 degrees, including 456 candidates for master’s degrees and 30 for doctorates.

BGSU to hold commencement Friday, Saturday Dec 8, 2017 2:26 PM BGSU will celebrate its 290th graduation in two ceremonies in the Stroh Center Friday (Dec. 15) and Saturday (Dec. 16). The December graduating class includes 954 candidates. Among the undergraduates, 56 will be presented associate degrees and 682 bachelor’s degrees. Of those, 142 have received honors for their high grade point averages.

Her field work, which examined how the diet of a crayfish predator might impact the behavior of crayfish, required long hours and intense attention to detail.

Prewitt, 31, who has two graduate degrees from BGSU, started playing the clarinet when he was 11. She was eligible for the Coverdell Fellows Program that offers financial assistance to graduate students. Watts was in the very first Master of Organization Development (MOD) cohort at BGSU in 1976 and completed all of the coursework required to receive his degree. Dynamic mapping Apr 28, 2014 12:00 AM “Anytime you ask the question ‘Where?,’ that’s GIS,” said Dr. Charles Onasch of Bowling Green State University. Whether it’s mapping tigers in India or tracking the distribution of natural gas or the production of manufacturing components, it’s necessary to know where and how what you’re looking for is distributed in space. GIS, or Geographic Information Systems, is one of the tools BGSU students in a new master’s degree program in Applied Geospatial Sciences will learn to use, along with remote sensing and GPS, or Global Positioning System.

Shore, Traul appointed to BGSU Board of Trustees Amy Shore, of Bexley, Ohio, and Howard Traul, II of Bellefontaine, have been appointed by Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine to the Bowling Green State University Board of Trustees. Shore will complete the term of former trustee Karen Morrison and will serve until 2022. Traul will serve a nine-year term.
