Dr. Driskell is an artist, scholar and emeritus professor at the University of Maryland, College Park. He holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from Catholic University, nine Honorary Doctoral degrees, and is the ground-breaking author of numerous books including "Two Centuries of African American Art" and "Harlem Renaissance: Black Artists in America."

An exhibition honoring the extraordinary body of work by BGSU alumnus Bernie Casey (1939-2017) and African American artists with ties to him, to BGSU and to the state of Ohio.
