Pre-Professional Programs
The Pre-Professional Program (PPP) provides you with specialized advising services as you work through your pre-professional track. Pre-professional tracks are not majors, but they are recognized areas of academic interest and professional study for students who intend to enter professional school from college. As part of your pre-professional track you will select a major that is relevant to your intended advanced degree.
Advising professionals in Pre-Professional Programs individually guide Pre-Health and Pre-Law students to identify courses required by professional schools. The PPP advisor can also inform students about the application process, specific admissions tests (MCAT, DAT, PCAT, VCAT, LSAT), and curricular as well as co-curricular activities that enhance their competitive edge when applying to professional schools. For a list of other Pre-programs at BGSU, see the list below for information and department contacts.
