Kelly Taylor came to the BGSU in August 1998 after teaching high school journalism and advising award winning high school publications for nearly 10 years. Championing the value of student media, Taylor serves as chairwoman of the BGSU Student Media Advisory Board and actively participates on the board of the Ohio Scholastic Media Association, which serves high school publications in the state. In 2018, the College Media Association awarded her the Reid H. Montgomery Distinguished Service Award, and the BGSU Chapter of the National Society of Leadership and Success recognized her for Excellence in Teaching.
