The College of Technology, Architecture and Applied Engineering is proud to provide scholarship support for students. These scholarships are provided through the generosity of alumni and friends of BGSU. Awarding of the scholarships is based on a competitive process. The amount awarded reflects the wishes of the donor(s) and is dependent upon current and projected market conditions.
- If financial aid is a requirement you must complete a FAFSA application to be considered for the scholarship.
- You must be enrolled for the applicable academic year to be eligible for these awards.

For more than 50 years, the Builders Exchange has provided tuition assistance to deserving college students in construction-related fields of study. Majors of recent recipients have ranged from architecture, to landscaping, to engineering and construction management.
Flexible Pavements of Ohio
Flexible Pavements of Ohio (FPO) and its member companies, working through the Ohio Asphalt Scholarship Fund and the National Asphalt Pavement Association Research and Education Foundation (NAPAREF), sponsor a series of asphalt pavement scholarships at ten universities in Ohio, which offer courses in asphalt pavement technology. Scholarships are awarded for the academic year beginning in the fall and running through the following spring.

Norman J. Crabtree Memorial Aviation Scholarship
Recipients are selected by the Scholarship Selection Committee on the basis of meeting eligibility requirements, academic record, recommendation letters and an essay on educational and career goals. SME Education Foundation Scholarship
For more than 40 years, the SME Education Foundation has been a leader in supporting the next generation of manufacturing and engineering talent. Our scholarship program awards millions of dollars to hundreds of graduating high school seniors and current college students pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering or related discipline.
With more than 60 distinct scholarship programs, the Foundation provides merit and need-based scholarships, issues renewing and one-time awards, and seeks applications from all eligible students, including but not limited to young women and underrepresented communities. The Foundation has awarded 18 million to over 5,000 future industry leaders since 2005 and awards nearly a million dollars in scholarships each year.
Scholarship applications are accepted annually from November 1 – February 1. By submitting one application, you will be considered for every scholarship for which you are eligible. Awards range from $2,500 – $20,000.
