Ben Burghart was selected to participate in NCARB’s fully-funded Scholars in Professional Practice conference, hosted by NCARB (National Council of Architectural Review Boards) and Howard University from August 8-11 in Washington, D.C. He presented a lesson plan to fifteen other teacher-practitioners, entitled "The FRESH System: A Collaborative Role-Playing, Stakeholder-Engaged Environmental Stewardship Workshop".

Dr. Donna Trautman and Ms. Laney Fugett were awarded a grant from the International Corrugated Packaging Foundation (ICPF) through their University Awards Program. A 2024 Zund M-2500 Digital Cutting Table, valued at $150K+, was granted for the Visual Communication Technology Program. It is housed the VCT Packaging & Prototyping Lab.
