Well-Being Room
Located on the main level (Room 220) of the Student Recreation Center, the Well-Being Room is a space that is dedicated to supporting both the physical and mental health of our campus community. It offers a range of resources for any faculty, staff, student, or community member who wants to use it. The massage chairs are set up for post workout muscle recovery, a relaxing break from class, for our faculty and staff to use to stretch their muscles from sitting at their desk, or simply a nice massage.
- The room provides a much-needed sanctuary where participants can take a break from their busy schedules to recharge and regroup.
- Two massage chairs are available to use, free of charge. Use the space by yourself, or invite a friend to join you and use the other chair.
- Utilize the space to relax and meditate, or practice yoga, away from the hustle and bustle of the weight room floor.
- Self-care kits are provided to all participants to take with them after their experience.
