Staff at the Rec Center Welcome Desk will help you purchase your parking permit. If you're renewing an existing permit, you can also do so by phone at 419-372-2776.

Hourly parking is available for purchase at the kiosk in Lot X (near the rear entrance on Mercer Road), or the PayByPhone app.
Your Rec parking permit gives you access to the following lots:
- Student Recreation Center: Lot X
- Moore Musical Arts Center: Lot 16
- The Slater Family Ice Arena: Lot 10
- Perry Field House: Lot 18
Accessible entry is available at the Rear Entrance off of Mercer Road. Patrons requiring assistance at this entrance need to call 419.372.2705 upon arrival.
Visitors may access the PayByPhone mobile app to pay for short-term parking designated by signage in campus lots. PayByPhone parking rates mimic the kiosk, but with an additional processing fee per transaction. Users will receive an alert when the parking time is about to run out, giving them the opportunity to purchase additional time from their phone instead of returning to a kiosk.

Yes, patrons are required to register their disability placard with Parking Services.
Option 1:
Park temporarily in the Ridge Street roundabout outside the Rec's main entrance. You can park here for up to 15 minutes to get your pass set up at the Welcome Desk.

No. Parking is free on weekends, and on weekdays before 7:00 am and after 7:30 pm (after 5:00 pm in select lots). For more information, visit Parking Services or call 419-372-2776.
With your faculty/staff parking permit, you can park in Lot 16, Lot 10, and Lot 18. Once you become a Rec member, you can also add Lot X – right next to the Rec’s back entrance – to your permit at no extra cost. Contact Julia Adams to make the update at 419-372-7485, or jthatch@bgsu.edu
