Cargo Bike

In addition to reducing emissions, cargo e-bikes encourage movement, which benefits physical and mental well-being. While the program's focus is to promote the use of cargo e-bikes as an alternatie to gas-powered vehicles, their presence on campus inspires their use for transportation, recreation and leisure.

Through demonstrating a sustainable transportation option, the cargo bike reduces gas powered vehicle use and showcases biking for commuting and carrying loads. Based on popularity and usage patterns, plans may include expanding access to the cargo bike to a wider audience on campus. The cargo bike is housed within the Offices of Recreation and Health and Wellness for easy access and maintenance.
