Back to school after 36 years Aug 6, 2014 9:40 AM The phrase “back to school” had an entirely new meaning to Al Watts after a nearly four-decade hiatus. Watts was in the very first Master of Organization Development (MOD) cohort at BGSU in 1976 and completed all of the coursework required to receive his degree. However, life got in the way and he didn’t finish his thesis.

Online Academic Planning Tool Helps Business Students Graduate on Time Aug 19, 2014 9:31 AM Graduating from college on time saves students tuition money and helps them begin earning a full-time salary as early as possible. BGSU’s College of Business sees the importance of on-time graduation and has created a software tool to help its business students work towards achieving this. Starting this fall, students will receive more than the usual assistance in mapping out their degree program with a new planning tool called the Digital Degree Plan.

Dallas-Hamilton Center Featured at Global Conference Aug 20, 2014 8:52 AM Bowling Green State University’s College of Business and the Dallas-Hamilton Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership will take center stage at the world’s largest annual gathering of university-based entrepreneurship centers. A presentation proposal by the Dallas-Hamilton Center was one of the few selected to be a part of the Global Consortium for Entrepreneurship Centers (GCEC) international conference to be held in London, October 2-4.

Marketing Grad Lands Dream Job in Big Apple Aug 11, 2014 3:06 PM From the ball diamond at Bowling Green State University to one of the major “gems” of advertising agencies in New York City, Chris Miller took his marketing degree, along with strong perseverance, and networked his way to finding his “dream job” in the Big Apple with some help from BGSU marketing faculty members.
