Biography:
I am a filmmaker and teacher. I have a wide range of filmmaking interests, from narrative to documentary to experimental, from low-budget action films to absurdist comedies to personal explorations of identity and history. My work has appeared at film festivals throughout the United States and I have taught film and digital media courses at the high school, college, and adult-education levels. I hold a B.F.A. in Media Arts from the University of Arizona and an M.F.A. in Radio/TV/Film from Northwestern University. Some of my work can be viewed online at thomasjcastillo.com.
