Baxter Chambers
Baxter Chambers is a practicing lighting designer and lighting technician, with work ranging from design for the stage to light/time-based fine art.
Before joining the faculty at Bowling Green State University, Professor Chambers served as the Associate Theatrical Lighting Manager at the University of Michigan, as a Design Fellow at the Chautauqua Theatre Company, and as the House Electrician at Marathon Center for the Performing Arts.
His design and creative works have been showcased in the Virtual DUMBO Dance Festival, and HOLD: Design for Empty Rooms (featured in American Theatre magazine).
Select design credits include: Entropics (Full Steam Ahead Prod.) Everybody (Purdue University), The Music Man (Wagon Wheel Professional Theatre), On The Exhale, Agent 355, and How The Light Gets In (Chautauqua Theatre Company), and Mr. Confidential (Actors Theatre of Indiana).
