Sociology Graduate Student Association (SGSA)
SGSA Mission Statement:
The Sociology Graduate Student Association (SGSA) at Bowling Green State University is a non-political association for sociology graduate students aimed at fostering personal growth as professionals, scholars, and community members through various activities. We organize together and strive to provide training and opportunities above and beyond that which may be gained through standard seminar and assistantship experiences.
Our goal is to provide an avenue of communication between sociology undergraduates, graduates, and faculty. Further, we hope to facilitate communication with alumni of the program. We endeavor to foster sociological conversations among the diverse community of BGSU and engage in public sociology through community engagement and service.
