Recent Accomplishments 
Amy is a co-founder & organizer of the Summer Workshop for Experimentation and Thought (SWEAT) and co-editor of the book Toledo Remanufactured: Extracting a City's Graphic Culture (published by the SWEAT Workshop, 2007). She was co-designer and production manager of the book The Business of Holidays (Monacelli Press, 2004. Edited by Maud Lavin. Also co-designed by Melanie Archer, Alyson Beaton, Benjamin Finch and Jason Warriner). BOH was featured in Print Magazine and STEP Inside Design magazine and on NPR's Marketplace.

Amy Fidler has presented at AIGA's 2005 Design Education Conference, Future History, and was a visiting artist at the University of Indianapolis. She was a panelist at the Columbia College of Art and Design (Chicago, IL) discussing faculty-student collaboration, and recently spoke at the OptionShiftControl symposium at NC State, with her collaborator Jenn Stucker, about the SWEAT Workshop.

Amy is the founding president of the AIGA Toledo Chapter, and co-organized response_ability, a national AIGA conference for design educators held May 2010.
