Andrea-Middleton

Andrea Middleton is an associate teaching professor in the Art History division of the School of Art. She has been teaching at Bowling Green State University since August 2022. Prior to her appointment at BGSU, she was an instructor of Art History at the Pennsylvania State University in University Park, PA. She teaches the introductory survey courses to Western Art and upper-level courses about the Ancient Mediterranean.

Selected Publications

Her research explores cultural interchange and the role of art in creating and resisting systems of political power in ancient Egypt and the Mediterranean. She also studies art historical reception theory. This work has been recognized by her field in the form of invited lectures and two peer-reviewed publications. Her publications include:
