Viktoria Varga

Viktoria is a clinical psychology graduate student at BGSU. She was born and raised in Transylvania as a member of the Hungarian minority living in Romania. Viktoria earned her BA in Psychology at Babeș-Bolyai University. Drawing from her multicultural background, Viktoria’s research interests include cultural adaptation and development of culturally sensitive interventions. Viktoria is also interested in Contextual Behavioral Sciences, especially Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, as well as mindfulness-based approaches for somatic symptom disorder, stress, and resilience. After graduation, Viktoria plans to pursue research, practice, and teaching. The hobbies that keep her sane are listening and discovering new music, cooking/baking, and traveling.
