Elizabeth Emley

Liz Emley is a second-year graduate student in Clinical Psychology. She is originally from Bolivar, Ohio and earned her BA in Psychology from Ohio University. In research, she is interested in exploring ways to improve and maintain heath behavior change, particularly regarding dietary intake. Her current research involves the role that social activism plays in promoting healthy lifestyle behaviors among the general adults and college students. After graduation, Liz hopes to work in the realm of public health, developing and implementing health interventions and prevention programs in the community to improve people’s quality of life. Her hobbies include exploring the outdoors, reading, and spending time with her fiancée and cat.
