Officers

President: Madelyn Shepherd

Madelyn Shepherd is a third year Choral Music Education Major from Maumee, Ohio. This is her second year in Collegiate Chorale, and she is very excited to be this year’s President. Outside of Collegiate Chorale, Madelyn is also a Choral Scholar at the First United Methodist Church here in Bowling Green, and she was also the previous President of the BGSU A Cappella Choir. Madelyn is beyond excited to serve on the executive board of Collegiate Chorale this year and looks forward everything that this incredible group has in store!

Vice President: Cassidy Vanscoy

Cassidy is a fourth year Choral Music Education Major, and this is her third year in the Collegiate Chorale. Alongside the Collegiate Chorale, Cassidy is an alumni member of Sigma Alpha Iota, an alumni of Chi Omega, and Music Director of Retrograde A Cappella. Cassidy is also a member of Ohio Collegiate Music Education Association; the American Choral Directors Association and attended both the ACDA and OCMEA conferences this past year. Cassidy is beyond is excited to be the Vice President of the Collegiate Chorale this year, and cannot wait for all the amazing things in store this year for the group!

Secretary: Amanda Simpson

Amanda is a third year choral music education major from Maumee, Ohio. This is her first year in Chorale. Aside from being in Chorale, she is also apart of Volaré and a member of the Thompson Working Families Scholarship Program. Amanda is so excited to serve as the Secretary for Chorale this year as well as serve on her first ever position on an executive board.

Treasurer: Ashlyn Slocum

Ashlyn Slocum is a third-year music education major with a choral specialization. This is Ashlyn’s second year in the Collegiate Chorale and she has loved every moment of it! She is also involved on campus as the Financial Chair of Chi Omega, member of Order of Omega, and is a Thompson Family Scholar. Her favorite song she has performed with the Collegiate Chorale is ‘Homeland’ by Grace Coberly due to the strong connections this piece has to the alumni of the group.

Fundraising Coordinator: Kloe Archbold

Kloe Archbold is a second year transfer student Majoring in Music Education and Theatre! This year, she is reserving the Fundraiser chair for the Collegiate Chorale Choir. With a rich history of music and theatre, she strives to take the education route to further encourage students of music! Kloe is most excited for collaborating and performing on the Chorales tour this year! 

Tech Coordinator: Aria King

Aria King is a Third Year Music Education Major with an emphasis on General Music. This is her second year in the Collegiate Chorale and this is her first position on the Chorale exec board. Previously she has served on the Volaré Exec board as Treasurer, and was the Treasurer for SAI, this year being the Recording Secretary for SAI. Aria is looking forward to the tour that Chorale will be taking in the spring of 25' and can't wait to make new memories with this wonderful group of people.
