Officers

President: Karli Christ

Karli Christ (She/Her/Hers) is a third year Choral Music Education Major from Tallmadge, Ohio. This is her second year in Chorale and she is incredibly excited to be this year's president! Karli is a Choral Scholar at the First Presbyterian Church here in Bowling Green, is a voice and piano teacher at Forté Music School, and is an undergraduate intern in BGSU's Honors College.

Vice President: Cassidy Vanscoy

Cassidy is a third year Choral Music Education Major, and this is her second year in the Collegiate Chorale. Alongside the Collegiate Chorale, Cassidy is Social Chair of Sigma Alpha Iota, Alumni of Chi Omega, and Co-Music Director of Retrograde A Cappella. Cassidy is also a member of Ohio Collegiate Music Education Association; the American Choral Directors Association and attended both the ACDA and OCMEA conferences this past year. Cassidy is beyond is excited to be the Vice President of the Collegiate Chorale this year, and cannot wait for all the amazing things in store this year for the group!

Secretary: Olivia Swicegood

Olivia is a senior at BGSU studying Choral Music Education. This is her 3rd year in Collegiate Chorale. She is an active sister of Sigma Alpha Iota and was previously the treasurer of the BGSU A Cappella Choir. In her free time, Olivia loves to bake, spend time her pups, and watch Facebook videos.

Treasurer: Isabella Olzak

Isabella is a second year choral music education major from Toledo, Ohio! Besides the Collegiate Chorale, she is also a proud member of Volaré, the 2023 undergrad division art song winner, as well as a Thomson Working Families scholar. She is super excited to serve as Treasurer this year as this will be her first position on a collegiate-level executive board!

Fundraising Coordinator: Kourtney Syrus

Kourtney is a first year master’s student studying Choral Conducting. This is her first year in Collegiate Chorale as a graduate student, but participated in the group for 4 years while pursuing her undergraduate degree in Music Education. Kourtney also serves as the faculty advisor for Tonal Eclipse A Cappella, and is very excited to be on the executive board for this extremely talented group!

Tech Coordinator: Zac Flasch

Zac is a first year graduate student in Composition at BGSU. He graduated with a B.M. in Composition from Valparaiso University in 2023. This is his first year on the executive board. He is life-long lover of choral music and is happy to serve the group.
