Jayna Niblock

After completing her occupational therapy doctorate, Dr. Niblock was the first pediatric resident (now called a fellowship) for Creighton University. She received mentored experience in a variety of settings within pediatric practice.

She has continued to work in pediatric settings and maintains board certification in pediatrics. She focuses on:

  • Strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming care
  • Sensory integration and processing

Dr. Niblock developed a telehealth occupational therapy program for the company DotCom Therapy (now called Huddle Up) in 2016. She presented nationally and internationally on the topic of telehealth to support clients and practitioners during the COVID-19 pandemic.

She is passionate about professional advocacy and serves on a variety of state and national committees. She supports advancing practices within the profession through evidence-based practice projects to ensure clients are receiving care which is meaningful and supportive of who they are and how they desire to live their lives.

She is excited about how the OTD program at BGSU can meet the needs of a diverse student body to advance the profession.
