MACIE students' Fulbright awards for research and teaching upon graduation:

Returning to that country after her two year Peace Corps service from 2010-2012, Martin spent her 10-month grant examining the process to become a traditional healer in the modern world. Following her previous international experience, as well as her cross-cultural teaching experience in the Navajo Nation as an undergraduate, Martin was an excellent candidate for the Fulbright position, as well as a strong representative of the type of student that the MACIE program at BGSU produces following her studies.
