Child Development Minor

The minor in child development is designed to support students who are pursuing a career focusing on children in informal education and community-based settings. Students will gain a deeper understanding of child development in the context of a family-centric approach. Specific aims of the minor are to educate students in child development theory and practice, child development principles, and creative play activities and settings.
