Lynn Halterman
Lynn is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Accounting and Managment Information Systems at Bowling Green State University. His professional journey began at Stevens-Henager Business College, where he first taught Accounting. He transitioned to public accounting at Price Waterhouse, specializing in Information Systems Auditing, before discovering his passion for system development. Moving to Accenture, Lynn spent fifteen years designing and implementing Global ERP solutions for Fortune 1000 companies. He then applied his expertise as the Global Enterprise Architect at Cargill, overseeing data and finance/accounting systems, followed by roles as IT Director at Alexion and Dana. Lynn joined BGSU as a faculty member in 2023, initially teaching Management and Supply Chain before moving full-time to the Department of Accounting and Management Information Systems.
Outside of academia, Lynn is actively involved in community service. He has served as a scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America and currently leads a Hispanic congregation at his church. He also supports Nuesta Gente, a charity aiding Hispanic immigrants. In his personal time, Lynn enjoys scuba diving, leisure biking, listening to podcasts, and spending time with his wife, six adult children, and eight grandchildren.
