Janean Rundo, Ph.D.
Dr. Janean Rundo is an Assistant Professor of Accounting in the Department of Accounting and Information Systems at Bowling Green State University. She holds a PhD in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati. She additionally completed an MBA from the University of Cincinnati and has a BS in Finance and Accountancy from Miami University, Ohio. Her current research focuses include topics that impact the regulation and reporting standards on financial reporting and audit quality, with a focus on individual audit partner characteristics, audit committee/partner relationships and audit committee networks. She enjoys teaching audit and financial accounting topics to undergraduate and master’s students. She has over a decade of work experience, including positions at Deloitte and Touche, Keybanc Capital Markets and Nielsen. She brings industry expertise into the classroom having had roles in external audit, banking regulation, and directing financial planning and analysis for a $3.5 billion international segment at Nielsen. Janean is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Ohio.
