Artist roundtable will begin at 6pm.

In the Uber Bryan Gallery, Sticks and Stones will feature the vibrant and amorphic practices of Chris Lux (US), Oreka James (CAN), Jade Townsend (NZ), and Skye Volmar. Artists will be onsite for two weeks to create new site-specific installations for the show.

Oreka James Talk - Sept 28th, 5pm @ UB Gallery

Chris Lux Talk - Oct 2nd, 5pm @ UB Gallery

Jade Townsend Talk - Oct 3rd, 5pm @ UB Gallery

BGSU galleries is excited to open our new Black Door Video Art Gallery (Formerly the “Red Door” Gallery) with MONITOR 15: Clearings in the Fog curated by Faraz Anoushahpour . Annually organized by the South Asian Visual Artist Collective, the MONITOR showcases experimental short films and videos that initiate dialogue around the shifting nature of politics, economies, and landscapes across the Global South and its diasporas.

In the Wankelman Gallery, BGSU MFA student Ghazaleh will present Sonic Luminosity: A Visual Odyssey. Dasti's uses site-specific installation for the harmonious fusion of boundary-pushing creativity, seamlessly merging advanced technology with the realm of visual design + soundscapes. Through the blending of both audio and visual dimensions, Dasti focuses on the particular emphasis on the pivotal role that sound design plays installation.
