Disclaimer Capstone projects are scheduled according to academic semesters and vary depending on the major in which the student is enrolled. All engineering, engineering technology, and computer science programs align their projects with the semester basis starting in January and finishing in May or starting in August and finishing in December. Typically, teams of three to five senior students work on each project. A faculty advisor mentors student for each project and meets regularly with them. Sponsors may assign an industry advisor who will communicate regularly with the student team and provide technical support when needed. Projects should be designed for approximately 300 to 400 hours of student project work depending on team size. Student project results are provided 'as is' without any representation or warranties whatsoever, whether express or implied, including, but not necessarily limited to any warranty as to fitness for particular purposes, merchantability, or non-infringement. All research performed is to be done by university students and is not subject to peer review or independent verification of results. Updated: 11/25/2024 03:27PM
