Fei Gao, Ph.D.
Dr. Gao is the Program Coordinator of the online master’s program in Instructional Design & Technology. Dr. Gao’s research focuses on cultivating reflective and motivated learners by guiding them through the key stages of learning such as goal setting, planning, monitoring, and evaluation within online STEM learning environments. She explores the design of online programs, such as gamified learning environments and simulations to enhance learners’ cognitive, affective, and motivational dimensions of learning. Dr. Gao's work has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals, including The Internet and Higher Education, The British Journal of Educational Technology, and Computers and Education.
