Summer Nursing Camp

The Bowling Green State University (BGSU) School of Nursing (SON) had the inaugural BGSU Nursing Camp during the summer of 2022. BGSU's first Nursing Camp took place in 2022 and is generally held the second week of June.

A total of 31 high school students (grades 9-12) attend along with many faculty, guest nurses, and nursing students. Students experienced AHA Heart Saver/CPR training, basic first aid care, hand hygiene/PPE, BG's anatomage table, a campus tour, exposure to campus life, a Q&A discussion opportunity with nursing professionals, a healthcare escape room, campus scavenger hunt, healthcare Jeopardy, and lots of fun!
