Nursing is a rewarding and challenging profession that incorporates theory, complex technology and caring. Baccalaureate nursing graduates provide research/theory based nursing care to healthy and ill individuals, families and communities in diverse health care settings including clinics, hospitals, nursing homes, schools and outpatient facilities. Graduates also are prepared for advanced study at the master's degree level. The consortium of The University of Toledo (UT) and Bowling Green State University (BGSU) provides an innovative and unique baccalaureate nursing program. Students choose the university (BGSU or UT) that best meets their needs for general education, liberal arts and sciences, then enroll in on-line courses through the UT College of Nursing.
