In-person teaching on the Firelands campus
- Introduction to Human Nutrition (FN 2070/2080): This course teaches the basic concepts and principles in the science of human nutrition, energy balance and weight control, individual nutrient needs, diet selection, nutrition-related metabolism and physiological functions, nutritional diseases, and current human nutrition controversies. Master’s degree required. Please submit a CV/resume and letter of interest to Ms. Tracy McGinley, tracygm@bgsu.edu.
- Early Childhood Inclusive Education program (courses related to preschool, elementary education, and special education). Master’s degree, daytime availability, and a minimum of three years of full-time experience in PreK-12 settings required. Please submit a CV/resume and letter of interest to Dr. Trisha Prunty, Ed.D. at pprunty@bgsu.edu.
- Elementary and Intermediate Spanish courses. Master’s degree and daytime availability required. Please submit a CV/resume and letter of interest to Dr. Ray Schuck at rschuck@bgsu.edu.
In-person teaching for Firelands on the Bowling Green campus (BGSU Pathway Program*)
- Principles of Sociology (SOC 1010): This course covers the scientific study of social structure, interaction, and institutions. Topics include gender, race, class, family, culture, and crime. Master’s degree required. Please submit a CV/resume and letter of interest to Ms. Tracy McGinley, tracygm@bgsu.edu.
- Introduction to Women's Studies: Perspectives on Gender, Class and Ethnicity (WS 2000): This course focuses on women's experiences in society while accounting for the intersection of gender, race, and class in affecting experiences. Master’s degree required. Please submit a CV/resume and letter of interest to Dr. Ray Schuck at rschuck@bgsu.edu.
*The BGSU Pathway Program is a cohort-based program offered through BGSU Firelands but housed on the Bowling Green campus. Students are first-year, mostly residential, students who have been selected to participate. The Program features enhanced advising, frequent communication, and personalized support.
