Professional Biography/Profile

Megan Green, an Assistant Teaching Professor, brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the BGSU Pathway Program. She began part-time in 2016 and became a full-time instructor in 2019. With a focus on literature and composition, Megan guides her students through explorations that enhance their understanding of both self and the world. As a doctoral student in BGSU's Rhetoric and Writing Program, she delves into the intersection of creative writing, environmental identity, and sustainable behaviors. Megan's joy in teaching lies in witnessing the transformation of her students throughout the semester, as they make real-life connections to texts and their own writing. Beyond academia, she is an accomplished researcher and presenter, engaging in topics such as young adult fiction, middle-grade fiction, environmental literature, and composition and creative writing pedagogy. In her free time, Megan can often be found sipping coffee, daydreaming about stories, or conversing with her Patronus, Baby Yoda.
