Complete the Summer Literacy Institute – Online
Presented by the Bowling Green State University Graduate Reading program
Pass the Ohio Assessment for Educators 038 and 039 subtests I and II and you will be eligible to apply for a K-12 Ohio Reading Endorsement and may qualify for the BGSU K-12 Reading Endorsement Certificate.

Master’s of Education in Reading
Although Institute students are not required to enroll in the M.Ed. program, the Institute may act as a catalyst for pursuing the master’s in reading.

All students should submit Praxis II PLT, edTPA Scores, or OAE Pedagogy test scores and official transcripts from all institutions attended.
*Assessment and practicum courses require access to early childhood, middle childhood and adolescent struggling readers.
To obtain the BGSU Pre-K Reading Endorsement Certificate, all endorsement courses must be completed at the graduate level.
