Danielle Kuhl joined the faculty of Bowling Green in the fall of 2007. Her areas of expertise are neighborhood effects on crime and delinquency, the consequences of community social (dis)organization, and criminological theory. Past research has focused on adolescent violence and suicidality. More recent projects investigate the neighborhood and developmental contexts of crime and substance use in emerging adulthood, with particular emphasis on the life-course turning points of college and marriage.
