LET THE ARTS MOVE YOU.

"Let the Arts Move You" is the theme for the 2018 ArtsX from 5-9 p.m. on Saturday, December 1 in the Fine Arts Center and The Wolfe Center for the Arts.  

The pre-holiday celebration of the arts for Bowling Green State University and area communities this year celebrates movement by featuring Verb Ballets, the Cleveland-based contemporary ballet company.  Verb Ballets will present two performances during the evening, at 5:30 and 7 p.m. in the Thomas B. and Kathleen M. Donnell Theatre in the Wolfe Center. Their bold artistry, unique styles and technical excellence captivates audiences of all ages. The company has been named one of Five Great Tiy Troupes in America by Dance Magazine, and one of the 25 dance companies to watch in 2017.

The 14th annual ArtsX event also showcases arts activities such as musical, theatrical and dance performances; exhibits and demonstrations; hands-on activities and art sales for holiday shoppers looking for unique, handmade gifts. The talents of the School of Art faculty and staff are part of the ArtsX experience with the traditional annual Faculty and Staff Exhibition. Their mixed media, print, paint, glass and graphics works are displayed in the Dorothy Uber Bryan Gallery through Dec. 12.
