Bio 1010, 1040 & 2050 Lab Coordinator, Assistant Teaching Professor
Research: Systems Biology, Metabolic Modelling, Toxin-degrading Bacteria, Harmful Algae Bloom
Research Interests:
My research interest revolves around using omics to understand microbial growth. The techniques I have used so far include building a genome-scale metabolic model, developing minimal growth media, and studying genomics and transcriptomics to understand the growth behavior of microbes in a group. As a Lab coordinator, I design lab activities and train teaching assistants. I aim to build fun, challenging, and stimulating research-based lab activities for the students.
