2024 Graduate Student Professional Development Day

Dr. Donald AsherGraduate Student Senate’s Professional Development Day is on Thursday, October 24th, in Bowen-Thompson Student Union, Room 308, from 9:45 am until 3:45 pm or Hybrid. 

This year, we are excited to welcome Dr. Donald Asher (Pictured Right), an internationally recognized author and speaker on the topics of careers and higher education. He has authored twelve books, including Graduate Admissions Essays: Write Your Way into the Graduate School of Your Choice and Who Gets Promoted, Who Doesn't, and Why.  

In this year’s sessions, we explore alternative career pathways that shape futures and create lasting impacts. Attending the sessions will allow unlocking new opportunities to drive change and redefine your professional journey.
