Student Veterans of America

The Student Veterans of America (SVA) is a national organization focused on providing military veterans with the resources, support, and advocacy needed to succeed in higher education and following graduation.  BGSU recognizes the Student Veteran Organization as a local chapter of the SVA for military connected students (Veterans, Active Duty, National Guard, Reservist, & Dependents).  The vision of the SVA is to have all military students succeed in higher education, achieve their academic goals, and gain meaningful employment. 

The BGSU Student Veterans Organization chapter is connected to and supported by Non-Traditional and Military Student Services and the Peer Advisors for Veteran Education (PAVE) program. It was founded in spring of 2013.
