BGSU names new Chief Communications Officer Aug 31, 2011 3:26 PM Robin Gerrow, assistant vice president in the Office of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin, will be Bowling Green State University’s next Chief Communications Officer, President Mary Ellen Mazey has announced. Gerrow will join Marketing and Communications Sept. 30.

President Mazey to preside over first commencement Aug 1, 2011 3:44 PM Bowling Green State University will hold its 271st graduation ceremonies at 9 a.m. this Saturday (Aug. 6) on the lawn in front of University Hall, with new President Mary Ellen Mazey presiding. The total number of diplomas being awarded is 1,135, including 537 degrees granted through the Graduate College. Seventy-two undergraduates will receive their degrees with honors signifying meritorious academic achievement.
