BGSU faculty celebrate promotion, tenure

BOWLING GREEN, O.—A number of Bowling Green State University faculty reached milestones in their careers when they were granted promotion, some with tenure, by the board of trustees May 6.

The board also approved the appointment with tenure of two new deans. Dr. Faris Milhas was appointed dean of the College of Technology and a full professor in the construction management department. Dr. Jeffrey Showell was appointed dean of the College of Musical Arts and a full professor in the music performance studies department.

Ten faculty were promoted to full professor:

• Mark Munson, music education
