Vocal Arts

Vocal Camp 2012 (9 of 12)

BGSU Vocal Arts camp offers a complete voice experience to high school students. Including voice lessons, choir rehearsals, musical theatre rehearsals, masterclasses, and a final recital, the program allows students to focus on their instrument in an environment of like-minded individuals with the guidance of BGSU’s faculty, staff, and student communities.

Preparation

The program is crafted for students entering grades 9-12 who have previously sung in choirs, taken voice lessons, or performed onstage, though this is not a requirement. A few weeks before the start of camp, students will receive a form asking about their musical interest that will include a place to upload PDFs of their chosen solo repertoire. At this time, they will also receive the choir and musical theatre ensemble music as well as practice tracks.

Scholarships

Scholarships are available to help defray the cost of the camp. Please check the Scholarships page for complete information.
