Michelle Teyvel completes research on synesthesia, composition, and piano teaching

Michelle Teyvel (BM '25) composed Synesthesia Preludes, a collection of eight intermediate piano pieces designed for students, guiding them on a journey of transforming colors into music. She commissioned a visual artist to complete art connected with each piece and is working with piano students and teachers to help facility a greater understanding of the dynamic relationship between sound and visual art.
