BGSU Percussion Ensemble welcomes Chris Sies for Fall Concert

Chris Sies is a percussionist and composer currently based in Calgary, Canada. His work "Music for Horizon Lines" is a 30-minute piece in four movements for 4-6 percussionists and electronics. Mr. Sies will be on campus for 3-4 days to rehearse the piece and work with BGSU percussion students in lessons and masterclasses.

"Music for Horizon Lines" will be featured on the BGSU Percussion Ensemble's fall concert, Thursday 11/7/24 at 8 pm in Kobacker Hall. The Program will also feature works by Silvia Léon, John Cage, Jack Stamp, and The Books.
