University Apartments

The University Apartments at Falcon Landing combine the convenience of the residence halls and the independent lifestyle of apartment living located on campus and features two-person apartments which has two single bedrooms. Each apartment has an air conditioning unit in the living room. The  apartment features a furnished living room, kitchen and shared private bathroom.

Apartment Amenities

The University Apartments at Falcon Landing are just what they sound like, they are apartments that BGSU manages and are located on-campus. All utilities and internet is included in the Housing Payment, making it a more convenient option compared to off-campus apartments.

Students | Only Returning Students can select to live in the University Apartments.

Community | Living in the apartments will have the private feeling like an off-campus apartment.

Rooms | All room options during the 2024-25 academic school year will be single rooms (approximately 145 sq feet each room) in a 2 bedroom apartment. Two students will reside in the apartment. Rates for Falcon Landing can be found on our Housing & Meal Plan Rates page.  

Bathroom | Students are responsible for supplying their own cleaning products, shower curtain, toilet paper and cleaning the bathroom.

Laundry | Laundry is located in each apartment. 

Meal Plan | Students residing in the apartments will not be required to have a meal plan.  

Parking |  One space on site per resident.

Bedroom sizes vary room to room. The sizes listed are an average and only include the bedroom space. It does not include the dimensions of the bathroom, living room or any other feature in the apartments.

Apartment FAQs

Returning Students who are eligible to live on campus, are eligible to live in the apartments. To be eligible to live in the University Apartments, you must be in good judicial standing and have a cumulative GPA of a 2.75. If you are applying for a 4 person apartment, all members of your group must meet these requirements or your application will not be considered.

Please note: First-year and Transfer Students are not able to live in the apartments.

During the 2024-25 academic school year, there will only be one style of apartment available.

  • 2 person apartment (2 double bedrooms)

You will receive notification by email if you have been selected. 

The apartments are furnished with basic furnishings, which include a full bed and a 2 drawer dresser for each occupant, a living set (one couch, one chair), and a dinette set. The kitchens are equipped with a stove, refrigerator,  and microwave. All furnishing must remain in the apartment and cannot be removed by the occupant.

  • Students living in Falcon Landing will have one parking spot on site. Parking will be managed through the Leasing Office.  

Since these apartments are University-sponsored, you will be billed through your Bursar Account, similar to how residence halls are billed.

Your room rate includes all utilities, so you will not receive a separate bill.

A washer and dryer is provided in each apartment and is shared among the occupants of the apartment. 

If you live in the apartments you are not required to have a meal plan. You will be responsible for canceling your meal plan if you do not want to have one while living in Falcon Landing.

Please Note: If you move from the apartments to a Residence Hall or the Greek Village, you will be required to select a meal plan at the time of your move.
